Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 6, 2026 | Last Updated: June 6, 2026
Applies to: tikflux.com
TikFlux (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an independent web-based TikTok story viewer that lets you browse public TikTok content privately — without logging in, without creating an account, and without leaving a trace in the story poster’s viewer list. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user — particularly if you are located in the United States.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. “TikTok” is a registered trademark of its respective owner. TikFlux is a standalone, independent service.
1. What Information We Collect
TikFlux is designed from the ground up with a minimal data footprint. Here is exactly what we do and do not collect:
A. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any personal identification.
- We do not ask for your TikTok username or credentials at any point. Our anonymous TikTok viewer works without any TikTok login on your end.
- We do not collect payment information (no purchases currently exist on TikFlux).
- We do not build individual user profiles or track you across sessions.
B. Information That Is Automatically Logged
Like virtually all websites, our servers may automatically record limited technical data when you use TikFlux to watch TikTok stories online:
- IP address (used for rate-limiting, abuse prevention, and server security — not linked to individual viewing history)
- Browser type and version (user-agent string)
- Referring URL (the page you came from, if any)
- Date and time of request
- Pages or features accessed on TikFlux
These logs are standard infrastructure data. They are retained for a limited operational period (typically 30–90 days) and then deleted or anonymized. We do not sell, share, or analyze these logs to build advertising profiles.
C. Aggregate Analytics (Anonymous)
We may use anonymized, aggregate-level traffic analytics (such as total page visits or most-viewed features) to understand how users interact with our TikTok profile viewer tools and improve performance. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.
2. How We Use Information
The limited data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and improve the TikFlux TikTok story viewer platform
- To detect and prevent abuse, scraping at abusive rates, bot traffic, and security threats
- To monitor uptime and fix bugs that may affect your ability to view TikTok stories anonymously
- To comply with applicable US laws and legal obligations
- To enforce our Terms of Service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
TikFlux aims to keep tracking as lightweight as possible. We may use essential cookies or local storage for:
- Session security and CSRF protection (preventing unauthorized actions)
- Load balancing across our server infrastructure
- Remembering basic interface preferences (e.g., language or theme)
- Basic, anonymized analytics (page load times, error rates)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads cookies, or any cross-site behavioral tracking.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential security cookies may affect some TikFlux features, but will not prevent you from using the core anonymous TikTok viewer functionality.
4. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure
TikFlux uses reputable third-party infrastructure providers to operate reliably and securely. These may include:
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for fast page loading across the United States
- Cloud hosting providers (servers that process your requests when you view TikTok stories online)
- Error monitoring tools (to detect and fix bugs automatically)
These providers process only the minimum data necessary to perform their technical functions. They operate under their own privacy policies and do not receive your personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.
TikFlux does not sell your personal data to any third party. Full stop.
5. Public Content Disclaimer
TikFlux displays only publicly available TikTok content — profiles and stories that TikTok itself makes accessible to the public internet. We do not access, store, or display content from private TikTok accounts. If an account is set to private on TikTok, our anonymous TikTok story viewer cannot access it, and we do not attempt to bypass that restriction.
Content displayed through TikFlux belongs to the original TikTok creator. We do not claim ownership of any TikTok content. Creators’ rights, including copyright, remain with the original rights holders.
6. Your Privacy Rights (US Users)
Depending on your state of residence in the United States, you may have specific rights regarding your data:
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and its amendment (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information (if any) we have collected about you
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of the sale of personal data (TikFlux does not sell personal data)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
Because TikFlux collects minimal personal data and does not sell it, most CCPA rights are satisfied by our default practices. To submit a request, contact us at the email below.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Other US State Privacy Laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, etc.) may have similar rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data TikFlux processes:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Firewalls and access controls on server infrastructure
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse and unauthorized bulk requests
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe a security issue exists, please contact us immediately.
8. Children’s Privacy
TikFlux is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Users between 13 and 18 should use TikFlux only with parental awareness and consent.
9. DMCA / Copyright Takedown Requests
TikFlux respects intellectual property rights. If you are a content creator or rights holder and believe that content accessible through TikFlux infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our contact email below that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the content on TikFlux you believe infringes your rights
- Your contact information
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized
- Your electronic or physical signature
We will review all valid DMCA notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing access to the identified content.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as TikFlux features evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the TikFlux anonymous TikTok viewer after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
